The dimensions of our new softwood railways sleepers are as follows:
Length – 2.4m/95 inches/7 feet 11 inches
Depth – 10cm/4 inches/4 inches
Width – 20cm/8 inches/8 inches
Please note that timber is a natural product and shrinkage / expansion may occur. Whilst we believe that these measurements are reasonably accurate if you require more information on the sizes of sleepers please do telephone.
Our softwood railway sleepers are perfect for:
- Defining borders
- Creating raised beds around your patio
- A feature bed for specimen plants
- Creating a vegetable garden
- Containing plants such as bamboo or mint to control their tendency to spread
