Many of our customers request their soil to be delivered loose, because it is more economical. Whilst we are able to supply Jumbo Bags, if they are not required Singletons Nurseries are delighted to pass the savings on to you.

Jumbo Bags can be the perfect solution for some people, for others they find that they can load the topsoil in to a wheel barrow more easily when it is delivered loose.

How much is a ton?

If you have a large wheel barrow one ton is roughly 12 to 15 barrow loads but when spread over a garden 1 ton will disappear pretty quickly!

Save Time! Petrol Rotavators For Hire

If you are looking to lay a new lawn why not get the ground off to the best possible start with one of our petrol rotavaotrs available for hire. These sturdy machines are only £20 for a weekend, and will quickly enable you to turn over and prepare ground for planting or a new lawn. An ideal combination to go with our topsoil.

Paperwork

Simply bring your driving licence and a recent utility bill - and a holding deposit of £200 which can be taken on a card, and hire one of these machines for the weekend. You will need a trailer, van or pickup truck to take away the machine they are too large for most family cars.

Grass Seed Dispenser

If you are aiming to sow your own lawn once you have prepared the soil Singletons sell sacks of grass seed and have a grass seed dispenser available to hire.
